A Toast to free meals for unemployed and overworked

Posted on April 9, 2020April 9, 2020 by fbfh

The Charleston Hospitality Group is doing all they can to make sure those who need it most are getting staying fed to help in our continued and shared fight against the coronavirus.

All four Toast locations across the Lowcountry are staying open to give free meals to unemployed hospitality workers in the food and beverage industry, along with health care providers and first reponders. Their effort is part of their campaign “Full Belly Full Hearts”, as their restaurants in West Ashley, Summerville, Mount Pleasant, and Downtown are taking orders and staying open. Starting on March 30, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., those impacted by COVID-19 and their families have been able to either call ahead or show up and be served safely.
